Colla Corii Asini E Jiao 6-10g Tonifies Blood and nourishes Yin.
With Gui Ban and Mu Li, for Muscular spasms and contractures due to Yin Deficiency.
With Zhi Gan Cao, Mai Men Dong and Bai Shao, for Yin Deficiency with chronic, unremitting low-grade fever, five-sole-Heat and an irregular pulse.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 9-18g Nourishes the Blood, astringes Yin, calms Liver Yang and Liver Wind and alleviates pain.
With Zhi Gan Cao, and Wu Wei Zi, nourishes Yin and softens the Liver.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae  Preparata Zhi Gan Cao 3-12g Moderates spasms, alleviates pain and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
With Bai Shao, moderates spasms and alleviates pain, for painful spasms of the leg or abdomen.
Fr. Schisandrae     Wu Wei Zi 6-9g Tonifies the Kidneys, astringes Jing and sweat and generates fluids.

  • Contraindicated for those with Yin and Fluid Deficiency with vigorous pathogenic Qi.
  • Contraindicated for those with Excess Heat.
